Founded in 1996 by Kobi Karp, Kobi Karp Architecture and Interior Design, Inc. (KKAID) is a full-service architecture, interior and planning firm providing a vast array of services ranging from the design of large-scale, high-rise condominium and hospitality projects, to intimate to small-scale low-rise residential and commercial structures. Recognized by the American Institute of Architects, KKAID continues to innovate and inspire design.

ARCHITECTURE

KKAID's modern designs and architectural work have been published and recognized internationally. They are inspired by the vernacular of the environments in which they reside. Its standard allows for the focus of the new design to relate to its logistical and historical contexts. The firm specializes in collaborating with clients to reach their project's mission while working within their budgetary parameters. The firm understands the need to create viable commercial, residential and mixed-use environments that produce a valued return on investment. KKAID believes that each project must be delivered on time, within budget, every time.

Kobi Karp has developed expertise in design over the last 20 years, working with a wide range of project types, sizes, complexities, and budgets. It is through this last quarter century working in warm weather climates that KKAID has garnered international acclaim and been selected to spearhead numerous resort projects. Developers and builders in the Caribbean, Black Sea region and the Middle East have relied on the firm for their design eye and planning.

“You have to be humble and you have to be realistic that in this world of capitalism, you always have to be on the cutting edge and provide a service that other people cannot deliver on an ongoing basis,” Karp said. “We fill that void. There’s a gap of design firms who are in Miami who knew and understood lifestyle resort apartments and condominiums, and we focused on that. And we were lucky in the last boom and also in this boomlet, if you will, to be one of the firms who is able to design and produce and deliver these type of prototype projects.”
